Sudip Shah

CEO and Director

With a masters degree from New South Wales, Australia, Sudip Shah is an entrepreneur in the true sense of the word. Coming from a business family, Sudip has been involved in setting up commodities and finance businesses back in Asia before migrating to London. Since then he has spent time focusing on fixed income markets including setting up a desk for an Indian bank. He has been associated with Orbit since 2014 where he has been able to grow the fixed income business multi fold.

Badal Patel

Director and Compliance Officer

Badal is a Chartered Accountant with almost 20 years of extensive business experience ranging from banking, mergers and acquisitions, investment management, fund structuring, private equity, financial analysis, audit, business and compliance consulting. Badal studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Finance at University College London and London School of Economics and has also completed an Executive Management Programme from INSEAD Business School.

Dr. Yasheel Jingree

Non-Executive Director

Dr. Yasheel has over 15 years experience in the financial sector covering various sectors like audit, accounting, tax, offshore structuring, management consultancy, business development and strategy. He is a BSC (Hons) Economics with Accounting from Middlesex University, MBA from Liverpool John Moores University and a PhD Doctorate in Management from University of Southampton.

Vishal Kabra

Head: Fixed Income

Mr Kabra heads our Fixed Income business. He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant from India with over 18 years of industry experience. Having started his career in Merchant Banking, he went on to trade Government Securities / Indian Gilts and related products for 7 years. He moved to London in 2005 where he was involved in setting up a trading and broking desk for Indian Convertible Bonds and other Indian Bank / Corporate Bonds in couple of boutique outfits. Along with this, he has experience structuring and placing primary convertible deals, and providing clients with ADR/GDR Arbitrage, Asset Swap Deals on convertible Bonds and trading commodity & Currency futures and options.

Sakshi Shah

COO

Sakshi has been associated with Orbit since 2007. She is an MBA from University of Southampton, UK.

She has a rich exposure of working on Global settlements in a broker dealer environment. Sakshi has been responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of the company.

She handles finance, accounting, and all the internal controls within the firm.

Rumit Mehta

Head, Corporate Finance and Banking

Rumit Mehta has had over 15 years of experience in capital markets and has worked at some of the world’s leading investment banks including BNP Paribas and HSBC. He has always been in the capital markets side of the business in both trading and syndication roles, in primary and secondary markets. He is heading up Orbit’s effort to become an EM focused primary market leader in both the fixed income, equity and structured deal space.
